Edinburgh is a city that is very easy to walk around and walking tours of the Old and the New Towns are my speciality!  Highlights include the world famous Royal Mile stretching  from Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, St Giles Cathedral, the Scottish Parliament building, the National Museum of Scotland, Greyfriars’ Bobby, the Georgian architecture of the New Town and the historic Port of Leith.  Along the way you will also hear tales of the colourful characters who used to inhabit this fair city.

I am more than happy to join your party for day trips to Edinburgh and the Lothians, St Andrews and Fife, the Scottish Borders or Stirling, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.

Please note I do not have my own transport so will happily meet you and the transport you have arranged at a designated pick up point.  I may also be able to assist in acquiring transport should this be necessary

I am an experienced tour manager as well as tourist guide and will accompany you on extended tours of up to 10 days helping you make the most out of the beauty and history of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.  Itineraray planning service also available.

Storytelling Sessions

As an expert storyteller I can incorporate tales from Scottish folklore, legends or ghost stories into my tours or even join you at a venue of your choice for a storytelling session.
